Waterproof Fixture housings are usually made of stainless steel, aluminum alloy or special alloy materials. These materials not only have high strength and excellent mechanical properties, but also have excellent corrosion resistance and aging resistance, and can maintain structural integrity and sealing for a long time in harsh environments. Through precise mold design and advanced injection molding or die-casting processes, the housing is integrated to reduce seams and gaps, thereby greatly reducing the risk of water and dust penetration. The edge of the housing is designed with continuous sealing grooves, which are combined with highly elastic rubber sealing rings or silicone sealing strips to form multiple waterproof barriers. These seals are rigorously tested to ensure that they can still maintain a tight fit under extreme temperature and pressure changes.
The product uses specially designed waterproof screws and nuts, such as threaded connectors with O-rings, to ensure that the fastening parts are leak-proof. The wire connections inside the lamps use waterproof connectors, which are filled with waterproof glue or have a special structure of waterproof design to ensure good electrical connections and waterproof performance even in humid environments.
The surface of the circuit board is coated with a waterproof coating, or the entire circuit board is encapsulated with potting materials such as epoxy resin to form a solid waterproof barrier. The power supply part is usually encapsulated in a separate waterproof box, which is filled with hygroscopic materials or airtightly designed to effectively isolate external moisture and humidity.
During the design and production process, Waterproof Fixture must undergo a series of rigorous waterproof tests, including simulated rain, water splashes, water jets and other scenes to ensure that they meet or exceed the IP65 rating standard. The IP65 rating means that the lamp can not only completely block dust intrusion (IP6X), but also withstand water jets from all directions without being affected (IPX5), and is suitable for humid environments such as outdoor, bathroom, swimming pool, etc.
An additional layer of anti-corrosion coating, such as galvanizing, plastic spraying, etc., can be applied to the surface of the lamp to improve its resistance to chemicals such as acid, alkali, salt spray, etc. Considering the need for long-term outdoor use, the lamp housing must also have excellent weather resistance, be able to resist the erosion of natural factors such as ultraviolet rays, high temperature, low temperature, etc., and maintain beautiful appearance and stable performance.
